Why CoConsider
Communication between people can often be challenging because the same written message may be interpreted in very different ways. What seems clear or appropriate to the sender may be perceived by the receiver as rude, defensive, insensitive or unclear. These differences in interpretation can lead to misunderstanding, damaged relationships and other negative consequences.
CoConsider addresses this problem by providing practical, research-based resources. We encourage people to use generative AI as an interpretation mirror, helping people consider how their messages might be received before sending them.

CoConsider aims to support more accurate, effective, and inclusive communication by making perspective-taking a practical part of communication.
